Phase 7 Aiming?
Hello, my Trucklite Phase 7 headlight and Custom Dynamics LED signals will be in this afternoon. There going in my 15 SGS and besides the extra harness it's supposed to be plug and play. My question is will I need to aim/adjust the headlight? The stock lights aiming was fine for me. I searched and read a few threads about the light being too low or too high. I hope to just install it and be done. I'm going to mark the wall where the stock light hits and see if the P7 hits in the same place.

Just like the manual says, sit on the bike with it vertical and measure to the center of the light. 25' from a wall, turn it on low beam and adjust it so the horizontal line is the same height.

Mine was different, if you like your current aim - mark the spots, and adjust the TLP7. Keep a phillip screwdriver with you on the first few rides to fine tune it the way you like it. Get the dim setting right, and the brights will fill in to give you a grin.
Oh, and generally they are too low. Factory settings need improvement.
