Pulstars for 10k now. Previous were HD and near new. Figured WTH and tried the pulstars. Bike starts quicker, picked up a little on MPG. Even switched back to HD for a bit to verify results.
We used to index the plugs on our XLT600 Triple snowmobiles...
My buddy swore it made them get down the trail quicker, but I really couldn't tell. But since he had the heated garage and lift, we did it his way.
I've heard you could increase horsepower by indexing them too.
I never took the time to do it either.
I just cant wrap my head around having the opening toward the exhaust port to keep the wet fuel spray and air from cooling the spark.

SE indexed. Both mind over matter, to some. For me, just another thing to tinker with, glad I did it. But, then again, I'd rather ride than wax! OHHhhh, he said bad talk! Didn't He?
I tried NGK's and my bike threw a code. I don't typically drink the Moco koolaid and maybe I didn't put the plug wire on properly but....... I put in a new set of OEM plugs and no issues. For the 10 dollar difference I've stuck with Moco on this one.
