We rode to Jacksonville to get our fairings done by Paul, who does a great job by the way! On the way home stopped at the South of the Border so the OL can get a few pics at the abandoned motel, she took a few of us as well.

Damn, thanks for the memories! I used to stop at that place all the time when I was a long haul driver. Billboards for 100 miles saying stop at Pedro's South of the border. LOL

 

Cool pics for sure. I just stopped by there a couple weeks back on a trip to Florida too. Pretty sad how run down SOTB is nowadays. Driving back from FL it was night time and they still have one heck of a light show though. Too bad no reason to stop there unless you're looking for cheesy cheap souvenirs.

 

What does he charge? I'm only 6 hours away...nice weekend solo trip in the spring.

I talked to him about a month before thunder beach and total was $425 installed, unless you have modification to your fairing then you need to talk about price.
