Anyway, again, glad you're OK.
I like the way you think!

I don't buy into the theory of "finally happened" as part of riding bikes. I've been riding since '85 and never been down (I probably just jinxed myself!) I know many who have and was actually with my 2 brothers and some friends, on the mountains of Tennessee in '06 when one of my brothers went down and his friend went over the edge. Ended up calling for the helicopter but he lived.
God bless and hope you have a good speedy recovery!
Glad you made it through the ordeal. I have been down twice the last one really hurt. Pot hole got me, never saw it the glare of the setting sun was the culprit.

Interesting. I always leave the garage thinking this could be the day. Have had plenty of close calls over the 100K miles I've ridden over the past 40 years or so. I'm still a nervous rider to some extent. Wish I could be like you.....maybe.
remember any motorcycle accident you can A walk away from B talk about it after is a good one.i just had my 4th in sept.lady rear-ended me a a red light because giving her daughter a potato chip was more important then stopping. heal good
Probably living that split second over and over in your mind. Just forget it. Besides, it could have been worse. Better to drop her in October than April. Take care
