OP, I added a tour pac to my 12 Road Glide Custom earlier this year. I think your harness should be identical to mine for the rear lights.

I used a plug from custom dynamics to cleanly splice into the existing rear light harness. No splicing or soldering was needed. I can unplug and remove all of it in minutes.

If interested, I can dig out part numbers, etc. to help you get this done.

Thanks for the input, that's a good option.

I figured it out.

Plug 12A is the tour pac connector, The plug is the one I referenced in my OP. The part that was confusing me is it was plugged into something that had two black wires.

The thing plugged into it was the tri bar light at the bottom of the rear fender on a Street Glide.

So, I have to figure out what I am going to do? I think I will pug the tour pac into the tour pac connector And look at something like bill from tn recommended for the tri bar light.

I think the 09 down Street Glides use the tour pak harness to power the rear fender fascia LED's. Heard most guys unplug tour pak harness plug and use it for it's intended purpose tour pak lights. Behind your taillight lens cover upper left plug is your license plate LED. Splice the 2 fasica light LEDs wires across the license plate LED lights to get power back to fasia LED's.

Thought I was going to be of help as I had the same question when I added a tour pack on my 13 street glide. However, different year bikes and I think they are a different "series" bike also. However, for mine, the tour pack was also a king pack from a limited and the light harness from the tour pack plugged into the main wire harness that was already ran on the bike. I may be mistaken, but I am 95% sure that is how I did mine. However, when I added the speakers, I had to have Harley repin and wire the plugs as they didnt match up.
