Excessive vibration after head pipe swap

Make sure your slip-ons are tightened down to your saddlebag guards, if one or both are loose you will get some extra vibration.

Rechecked and re tightened all the bolts....it's rough at 1000rpm, worse at 1500, smooths out a bit at 2000, and then normal at 2500-3000....but at 1500 it's really bad!

If the front exhaust is touching the right floorboard mount it can cause a vibration. It has happened to us before here in the shop.

Dont forget the motor is rubber mounted and it does move around in the frame. The exhaust is mounted to the motor. So if the exhaust is touching the frame it will cause a vibration.

I adjusted the floorboard. Removed the mufflers so it's just the head pipe. Still doing it.

Yes. It can definitely be the tune. Can you put your old header on and re-test. I know it's a pain but it's something you can do on your own...

check the o2 sensors make sure ya didn't get em switched up.

They seem to be fine....I'm going to play with the switching the map a bit tomorrow. See if that helps. IF not I guess I'll uninstall and reinstall the header

Changed out my 09 stock H/P for the Rinehart S/L duals too but did not notice any extra vibes.
I did notice a gain in HP/TQ though and that was with the same map.
Happy about that!!
