Im usually against all this modern stuff but have to say thats a pretty handy procedure/list youve done Petemac! I am also wondering if this will work on the 07's? Anybody out there tried it out?

I used the procedure as it's listed there a while back and it worked slick. Figured out what caused my little "hiccup" and was able to clear it out. Wonder what the dealer would have charged???
WOW!! Shortest dealer turn around time ever in my6 bike8 year run.
In at 10 out at 1030. I was the 10th bike this morning in line @ the dealer for 1st come 1st serve.
I checked the codes this morning, the bike was throwing codes P0118 & P0252 (I think). The problem was the engine temperature sensor was unplugged says the service manager.
Oh well its fixed, I'm glad it wasn't anything serious.
Thanks for this post..not to hijack thread, but I just had light come on and ran procedure, got these codes
P1010 Missing Password EFI
U1064 listed, not sure which of below it is.
U1064 Loss of TSM/TSSM Serial Data EFI
U1064 Loss of TSM/TSSM Serial Data Instruments
Any ideas what's going on? Hopefully just a lose wire.
