It is that simple......................UNLESS, you buy a 2014 or 2015. That would be a different Power Vision model.

Well, that's not so bad. They should say that on the Dynojet website.

well for the unsuspecting it's an easy sale.. but to be fair, if you call FM or DJ instead of simply ordering a new device over the internet, they'll tell you all you need is a cable for your new bike.

Contact customer service at dynajet. Had a friend had the same thing happen to him and the just sent him a new code. He may have had to send some evidence don't remember. No charge. Like they said if it is a 14 or 15 will need the PV2 cable which is 6 pin and the old was 4 pin. If you want the dynajet email I used send me a PM and will send to you.

well that's awesome if DJ actually does provide that service for folks who've totaled their previous bikes.

Friend thought his Ultra was totaled and I call them and that is what I was told. It wasn't totaled so never actually had to do it. I think had to send some kind of documentation but don't remember.

i have read where they've done this (at no charge) for folks who have had to replace their ecm. would be awesome if they did this for folks who totalled their bikes and have had them replaced. i can see where they would be under no obligation to do so and would definitely be a feather in their cap if they did.
