Just put one on my bike & I have the same issue. 1/4 " gap. I could try to tighten it down more, but I don't think that's a good idea. It's pretty snug now. I'll just live with it.

I do not sell one of these, to you, I am not sure what is it that you put on the bike.
I'm putting on a Gloss Black visor trim ring on my Daymaker Projector. Per instructions it slides over the stock trim ring, after you loosen that one... Problem is, I can't seem to get the new trim ring all the way up vertically because it hits the fairing? The profiles don't match... I wouldn't mind the gap at the bottom of the clamp, but is there supposed to be a 1/2" space all around, between the headlight and the new trim ring? But even then, the diameters don't line up.. The trim ring needs to get higher. My part #'s are correct, but this seems stupid to me... Doesn't look like it's made to fit w the fairing lip above the headlight. To make it a uniform circle, the visor trim ring needs to go up about 1/2", and then maybe I'd be okay with the space... Hmmmm
Hi, you can use one of my kit, so you won,t have any gap or have to use the harley OE trim ring, That should give you the space around the Fairing. Hayteaser.com
