The trim ring looked fine with the stock light, then I put in the truck lite and it looks great. No gap around light, and the where the piece meets at the bottom the gap is pretty much non existent. I got the small trim visor rings for the directional and installed the custom dynamic led ringz for signals. Really brought it all together.
I have the visor style on my bike with a trucklite, and I do not have a gap. The salesman at my local dealer said to take my time putting it on and I shouldn't have the gap, and I don't.
If you install the French Trim Ring correctly, there shouldn't be a gap. I had to assess and play with positioning a bit, but a little patience and time will produce 0-gap when done.
Here is the final solution, a complete kit, easy to install.

I picked up the passing lamp rings on sale at the local stealer-ship to save a few bucks. they had to order the headlight cover for me. now I'll look at doing the turn signal rings next to make everything match. I'll be looking at doing the truck light 7 upgrade too with passing lamps to match in the near future too.
