I got it in the mail in 2 days. Took about 3 minutes to install. I agree with bogie,it works better and is virtually invisible. I only use this in cooler weather, i like a little breeze in the warmer weather. Thanks for lettin us know about this!

Glad you're happy with it...
I like letting the community know about devices that might otherwise not get as much notice.
I think I'm a fairly typical rider in most respects and doing about 13,000 miles a year - so things that help me be more comfortable or feel safer - I share my thoughts.
I like some wind, too, otherwise I'd always take the cage...but buffeting is a totally different story. I don't have a long beard so lift isn't an issue, but I was having serious buffeting issues whenever I wore a helmet, and since I work on a military installation, a helmet is mandatory.
To cut down buffeting, I tried a) a taller windshield (LRS 8"), b) the lower triple 'ashtray', and c) 'fangs'. For me on my bike, the fangs had the most calming effect on the wind, followed by the LRS, and the ashtray is a distant third, to the point that I don't detect any real difference. Granted, I've never tried the ashtray without the fangs; maybe if I wasn't channeling the wind on the sides it would help more, I don't know. But I DO know that the fangs stay on all the time, I go back and forth between the stock SG windshield and the LRS, and the ashtray stays on because, yeah, it's chrome.
For longer trips, it's all three and I can cruise in comfort - still get a breeze but no head shaking. I can hear my stock tunes better, too.
I installed the bowl took away half the turburlance. Installed the fork deflector's and now when my ash falls off the cigarette it floats in front of me for several seconds
How "common" to smoke cigarettes on your bike. I feel so much more sophisticated since I started smoking Cohiba Behike. Smoking them on the motorway makes me feel a grade above the normal biker.
Bought the LTTD. Installed it and cut down on air coming over tank. It is pretty invisible. Also have the ash tray version. I like this one better. Might be the steeper angle of the LTTD lip.

I hope you`re not one of those who start horrible grass fires alongside an interstate.
I have heard that the bowl/dish installed under the fork lower tree will cause less cooling air flow to the engine and that outweighs any pluses it might have in reducing air turbulence to the rider.I believe Ultras came stock with them from the factory some years back and then they stop installing them on those models for the engine temperature problem.
