Default Problem with BOOM IPod interface

Here is the deal. I bought this at the local HD shop on Tuesday...after discounts and a bunch of other stuff it was $30 out of my pocket.

I tried two completely separate kits yesterday both ending with the same result. Neither one would work. They wouldn't do any thing.

It's not a pin in the 35 connector issue....I tried putting the pins directly on the back of the radio and it still didn't work.

They only thing I can think of is that when the tech flashed my radio to activate the intercom he some how disabled the radios ability to read the IPod interface.

Is this even possible???

Yes It's for the Street Glide. Part number for the Boom interface is 76476-10. I didn't need to get the connector kit (PN 69200033) because I have the intercom kit on the bike and it has that connector.

I installed both the NIM and IPod module (they share the same harness) . I did not pull maxi fuse when I did the install and didn't work at first. I then pulled the maxi fuse for a bit to reset the radio and worked like a champ after that. Make sure your iPod is plugged in, then see if it is charging - at least you will know if iPod is getting power.
