Hypercharger
I am looking at a Kuryakyn Hypercharger #9754 for an '05 RK. Can I get some feedback on the performance of this model as well as anything I might need to know when I get ready to bolt it on?[/align]
We put one on my son's '05 RKS - He thinks it looks Kewl (I don't really care for that type of look on any bagger??) - Had to do some drillin' into the manifold to make the butterfly work - But have had to replace the pre-formed Vac lines twice now (not the cheapest things and only thru Kuryakyn and normal vac line don't seem to make that curve).. Didn't see any more increase in power over the Ness or SE air systems??? And fuel mileage is about the same as my '01 RKC..
It ALL depends on what ya like

SoCal_Pappy, Thanks for the information. I was kind of on the bubble about it anyway. I think I will just spend my $$$ on a Linby and a Maverick. I dang sure have a few other baubles I can buy as well.
Myself - I think you'll be alot better off in the long run!!!
Have Lindby MultiBars with A\M Hwy Pegs on the King - Lots of places to put you feet that way!!!

I have had a hypercharger on my old Honda and I have to say that it was a huge waste of money. If your looking for a high performance ac/intake, the Big Sucker is probably your best bet. Don't let the butterflys hypnotize you into separating yourself from your dough!!![sm=insomnia.gif]
