I'm sure most of the 10 inchers would work. Bars can be had pretty cheap.. Chek out eastern performance.. Good customer service and fast shipping.. Maybe they will chime in
I installed 10 inch Road 6 Customs bars on my 07 SG and utilizedthe stock cables and wires.
Can anybody recommend a set of 10 or 11 inch bars for the 14 SG that can use the stock cable set up? Trying to keep the cost minimal...
Thanks in advance. / Mark
Up to 12.5 will fit with the stock cables. I say up to because some of the manufacturers measure differently. I know for a fact Wild 1 12.5 bagger apes will fit and they are an awesome, well made bar. You will need wire extensions with the 12.5s. Namz sells a plug and play kit for the 14s with Canbus.
What ever bars you decide to get, call the manufacture to get the exact measurement from bend to bend. The reason I say this, is because some bars measure more than they say. My HCC say 14", but they measure 16" bend to bend. I used to have 13" Cyclesmith on my 05 EGC and had to get +6 cables, but just rerouted the wires under the radio.
I put HD 12" Batwing apes on mine. I reused all the stock cables and wires with no extensions. Had it not been for my inexperience, my only purchase for the install would have been the bars. I screwed up the TBW sensor and had to buy a new one. Also, had it not been for the knowledge found on this forum I wouldn't have been able to do the job myself. My best advice to you is to just do some research and go for it. There are lots of people here that are happy to help with any snags you might run into. Including myself. Good luck
