will wanted to do something different with my '05 RKC. I am San Diego area and looked around and talked to a few people and was recommended to go to Kevin Norton. So I did last year. I got an OK paint job for an excessive price in my mind. Defects in paint and prep work, never got back some of the parts removed, needed to get pin stripping touched up. Made numerous calls and visits and could never get the parts back or stuff straightened out.
this was a 2 tone, panelpaint job with pinstripping.
curious what others experience has been in this area and how much they paid
I have had two bikes painted by Attitude Custom Painting in Fla. They do great work at reasonable prices. I highly recomend them. To see my latest, go here:
I'm also from SD. I had a bike painted a few years ago. I was going to have Uptown Cycle paint it, good rep. However, I didn't want to wait the 5 weeks down time. Ended up using Al Martinez in Orange County. 1 week turnaround. Great paint but they could have done a little more detailing on the moulding work on the aftermarket tank.
