Default 2015 flhx cams

I have a 2015 flhx and am trying to find out if the stock cams are better than the screaming eagle 211 cams. I feel a little difference in them but am trying to find out if I should go back to the stock cams on the 103 engine

Which stock cams are you referring too the 14 & 15 or the 13 and earlier. The SE 211 should out do either with a good tune. It is going to lope and needs a free flowing exhaust system on the stock exhaust system it isn't worth much as it has lots of duration.

The 211's won't really come into their own without a little bump in compression and/or head work. All in all the 211's will make you grin a little bit wider but without the compression, the end result wont justify the means of getting there.

2014 & 2015 cams are better than earlier non Rushmore cams, SE 211 cams like a little
higher compression. SE 204 cams are also a good all around cam and work good in a 103
with stock compression, and both cams are drop in cams that don't require a lot of engine
work.

Default 15 flhx cams

I have the 15 cams and bassani true dual exhaust system. The rear header pipe has an extreme bend in it which is causing back flow to bog down my engine at low rpms

If staying with Harley the SE204. If after market TW222, Andrews 48H or 57h, Fueling 543, S&S 551, and T-Man 555 Torqster. I think I would do the SE204 due to the lower lift, very similar to stock lift. It will also sound great and run with the rest of them. Some will swear by what they are running. If planning to go to compression and heads some of the others will make more difference but the 204 will do just fine. There is no canned SE map for any of them. Send PM with description of what cam you want and what your exhaust is and email and will send you a map. Your combo with 204 will do mid 90's+ hp and mid 100+ torque.

211s have 40 degrees of overlap and really need some compression to work. Not a good choice in a touring bike with stock compression and/or heads. They will be very soft on the bottom because of the low compression and won't run out up top because the heads can't flow enough. Proper headwork and tune will be a much better way to go than going back to stock cam (even if it is a rushmore one). Oh and add some high ratio rockers because 211s only have .508 lift. Yes, it was a poor cam choice.

I will definitely look into switching out the heads for more compression, but that will be a later mod. Thanks for thr info
