Not sure I want to jump all the way into the Daymaker, but heard good things about going to Xenon is cheaper and just as good. Anyone done that particular mod to the RK? How hard was it, and about how much?

I went to AutoZone and bought a Sylvania Super Star sealed beam, 7".The one that cars use, and it works great. A lot brighter than the OEM that HD has. I think it was around 30 bux. It's been a while, I've got probly 20,000 miles on it so far.

I think I'll go amazon too for convenience. 1 HL and 2 aux - do you have specific PN's? did you need adapters for the aux passing lamps, or plug & play? I'm on a 2009 EGC. Thanks.

Agreed...as I write this, there is a VERY active thread on the same subject with a TON of information! Just takes a tiny bit of work to look a bit and find it!

1 after market build h4 about 5- 15$, 2 add a e-code headlight housing about 40$. 3 hid kits vary a lot in price and dependability, imo just as bright as led 40$-140$ , they are technically illegal unless u use a projecter housing. hid uses a 35 watt bulb so lower load on your charging system.4 led, lowest load on your charging system.
