Default Going to try Yaffe 10"

I want to try higher bars...There are so many opinions on this forum About if You need extended wiring and brake and clutch. How much hassle is it to put on extended hydraulic clutch on a 2014 ? Is it easy line swap or is there adjustment, bleeding and what not involved? I put extended reach bars on already but not good enough for me yet. Thanks in advance.

Hap; Mine weren't Yaffe's (LA Choppers) and my bike's an 09, but 10" apes didn't require any wiring changes. Only issues were (1) re-routing some of the control wiring harnesses to fit and (2) clutch cable does require re-routing to work. I'm sure others w/14-Rushmore bikes can and will chime-in, but you might want to actually go higher (12-14") to get added reach & comfort. Good luck!

I installed 10" Yaffe Monkey bars with same clutch cable and brake line. Re-routed the clutch cable. Had to get the extended throttle wire from dealer.

They will bolt on and use the stock lines. You may need to buy the wiring extension either from the dealer or Namz. It is plug and play and real easy. I say may because I think Yaffee 10" are closer to other brands 12.5...

My PYO 10's were closer to 12" than 10" But I knew that going into the deal. I had to get a new TBW from the dealer though...

On the 2014's, the TBW is more than long enough to reach for 10" barss. I put HCC 14" bars on and the TBW was long enough. I rearranged the brake and clutch lines and the also were long enough. The only wires you will need are the control wire extensions, which are plug and play. You can either buy NAMZ or Harley has extensions at the dealer too.
