Got the 7" smoked tint LRS ultra re-curve fairing shield today and what a huge difference from the factory one on my SGS. Only a height difference of maybe 2" overall, but the wind buffeting was very minimal at 65 mph. Definite good choice. Looks good on the bike too. And delivery was only held up by 2 days. Can't argue with that either.
you can test ride the freedom shield to see what you like. they say leave the plastic wrap on and take a test drive. if you don't like it send it back and try another. they are also thicker than most shields. they hand rub the edges smooth. they are really nice.
The 8.5" Klock Works flare is fantastic at providing a nice bubble of clean air. I've tried the 7" LRS and its not as good as the 8.5" KW but better than the stock shield. The LRS 8" might work as well but I haven't tried it to give a reliable comment. GOod luck on your choice.

hope these give you a better idea, Very little difference in look but 100% improvement with head Buffeting. center height difference from factory to LRS shield is only 2" but that's almost overall. Makes a big difference plus it's re-curved too.

Thanks for the pics, good looking bike. I bought a Morocco Gold Pearl leftover '14 SGS. It was between that and an Amber Whiskey one, it was a tough decision, liked both. Good looking c6 sitting there too!

Funny you mentioned the Morocco Gold White model. Now that I have the 2015 SGS in Amber Whiskey, I am wondering if I should have went with the Morocco Gold White color. That was my first choice. I think chrome accessories or custom work will enhance either color so.... it's a win win situation. Still getting used to the Amber Whiskey paint. Yea. My C6 now sits outside Bike is in the garage and wife will not give up her side of the garage for my Vette..

Wow that sucks(the vette outside), gonna have to "chat" with the wife about that! My c5 stays in but I have shrinkwrap the boat and put it out in the winter so I can get my DD in, big deal here in central IND.
