Flaking End Caps, BuB 7's "AGAIN"

I have seen a few posts with the same complaint I have with chrome peeling/flaking. A lot of you have powder coated or painted. Any pics. black powder coated or Crimson Red Sunglo powered coated? I am thinking about this route along with maybe re-chrome.
