Just a tidbit for you (and most other people), the 09-later Front wheels with the thinner 15mm wide bearing, position the bearing slightly to the right (.045-.050) compared to the 07-earlier wheels with the 21mm wide bearing. (btw, i left 08 wheels out intentionally). That's why 08-later have longer spacers on the left aka "primary side" (also longer on the right, but for another reason).
When people install thinner 1"ID x 15mm bearings to be able to install on 2000-2007 bikes with their original 1" axle and spacers, the thinner 1" left side spacer effectively moves their wheel to the left .045-.050 from it's original positioning. Not enough for people to say "Hey this doesn't fit", the calipers can adjust slightly, but...both your rotors are now not centered in calipers.
Ask yourself "Why would HD change the length of the Left spacer?" (the most important one)
.
That is interesting Multihdrdr. I am going to take it to my local bike mechanic and let him do the swap as I don't have the tools to do this myself but it will be something I will bring up.

If you switch to the 25mm axle and 25mm spacers you'll be fine. The issue arises when you try to reuse your 1" axle and spacers by changing the installed bearings from (25mm x 15mm) to (1"x 15mm). Again, not enough change for people to say "Hey, this doesn't fit", but it's just not right.
Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket spacers? I found some nice black spacers by RC Components that would just clean it up a bit. any opinions?

If you like them...get them. Just make sure you get '08-later spacers.
I sell lots of the RC tapered spacers. They are much nicer looking than the stock spacers. I run them on my personal bike as well.
If you are running non stock lowers (Ness Hot Legs or AS lowers) there could be fitment issues with these tapered spacers. They work fine with stock lowers.
Multihdrdr the bags have been sitting in my basement for a year now. I was going to get them painted and put them on then I found a stretched rear fender I like and some lights so now I am waiting for the fender and lights so I can mock it all up then hopefully soon get it all painted and on before spring time.
Hogpro, I have stock lowers, just had them powder coated so I will be going with the tapered spacers for sure and a 25mm axle.
Thanks again for all your help and input guys! Have a safe and happy new year!
