Default Removing the Limited Badge

I have a 2014 Limited. I want to remove both front fender Limited Badges. Any tips to doing it without damaging the fender? Also any suggestions for dealing with the holes in the fenders that are exposed when the Badge is removed? Thx

Pretty easy, they are held on with two (each) push nuts like this:

You can order them from the dealer but they are common hardware store items. It's best the remove the outer fairing and unplug the fender tip light which is near the left lower triple clamp. Then you can remove then fender and pry off the push nuts holding the badge on and replace them with these simple (and heavy) bars that are on police models and HDI CVO Limited models. The bar is about $20 each from the dealer.

I've hated that Limited logo since the day I saw it! The Bar is understated and complements the finder light design.

The '14 and newer Limited badges are NOT just stuck on with push nuts. They are on with sticky tape as well. I know, I took the ones off mine when I swapped the stock fender for a FatBoy style. It was PITA to get that stuff off even with goof off. As for an item to cover the holes, the '13 and earlier models have a different front fender, the holes on the bottom piece are NOT the same, I'm not sure the holes for the badge would be the same as well.

Well, I checked and sure enough - the Ultra parts fiche shows push nuts and the LTD does NOT........taping them on must be one of those "premium upgrades. But the base part number is the same so the holes are still there and a bar with push nuts can still replace the badge.

I checked on that and the answer is no, it's still a Limited.

for badges held on by tape without pins, I use dental floss. seriously. use it to get under the badge, and draw it under the badge, cutting the tape. clean of what is left with your favorite cleaner and elbow grease.
