thats how I read it also, I dont think it applies to the touring family.

The issue affects a limited number of 2012 full-size cruisers whose model names start with the letters FL and FX – so nothing from the Sportster or V-Rod lines – manufactured between August 22, 2011 and February 24, 2012.
