Default Installing Apes...?

Got some 14" Chubby outlawz and decided to attempt the install myself on my Road Glide. I've read 4"+ cables/wires will be needed and wanted to know what you guys recommend... Any tips appreciated.

+4 should be good, but double check with John at Wild 1 just to be safe. I used the NAMZ wire extensions even though I really didn't need them for 12s - very good product. Also highly recommend SE throttle cable wire to get rid of the infamous green connector.

Excuse my ignorance but does the gas tank have to be removed to replace the front brake line/lines?

Add new polyurethane bushings to your shopping list. You'll have a much more solid feel with the taller bars.

Yep got that covered just wondering if the tank needs to be removed for easier access...

Yes. For no other reason than to get it out of the 'drop zone'. Your front brake line is strapped to the backbone. You may be able to fish the new one, but what a mess!

Also, a good strong pair of snap ring pliers. Apparently mine were "borrowed" and I didn't realize it until I was knee deep in the job. Good luck!!

If your bike has ABS then yes it must come off. If no ABS then no it doesn't have to come off. I'd remove it just for sake of not getting it dinged.
