I have one and it works great for my 2012 limited, Also just found a new use for it, My EGR coller went out on my ford diesel so i am using the lift to stand on while replacing so I dont have to use a ladder.
Thought about it, good price, but I needed higher rating. I went with Pro-lift 1500lb air operated, with chock, jack, drop door (for tire change), and extensions.
But I use it all the time and can be used for ATVs, mowers, etc.
Have a friend that has the Harbor freight lift - made a chock, added a jack, and made some side that stay on the floor so it's easier to park. Works fine if you don't use it often.
T sheff Nice work shop!! I have a similar lift, but haven't the room for side extensions in the winter, [Have to make room for the car]
Anyone have problem riding up on these lifts with an Ultra Classic, the are barely wide enough. I can barely get my feet on mine when I ride up on it, but I have only been on it once since Santa Claus brought it to me.

Look at the post by OLDDEADEYE on the first page, there's the solution.
I had 2 of the HF chinese junk lifts. would not hold my ultra up overnight. took them back and got my money back. bought a Handy. no more problems.
You're supposed to let any lift down on the safeties if it's going to be up for an extended amount of time. That's why there are generally more than one level of safety.
I leave my bike raised for days when cleaning or working on it. Why would you want to raise and lower it every day. Why would you want a lift you can't trust. If you put that "safety" bar in place and the lift fails, how are you going to raise the bike to get the bike down. bad design, bad chinese soft metal. You can put your 25,000 dollar plus ultra on it and take a chance but I'm not. Look in the archives where the lift crumpled while raised with an ultra onboard. if your happy with one great. I learned my lesson before any damage occured.
