Just wondering who else has issues with the rubber strip that runs up both sides of the fairing and abuts to the windshield. My right side is fine and the left well, not so fine. Sucker won't stay put and looking for a fix. I don't dare super glue the thing lmao. It's just annoying and more visual than anything at this point. Bike is an 06.Thanks

I had the same trouble on my 05. It never happend on my 02....
When I had the inner fairing painted, I replaced all those trip pieces and used Shoe-Goo to hold them on. I used masking tape to hold them in place over night ~ til they dried. So far, so good!
Now that;s FUNNY! I have never heard that saying.... [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
SHoe-Goo is kinda like silicone ~ only different.
It's usually available @ HomeDepot. It's in a white & red blister pack. We used to use it to when assembling individual NiCad cells into battery packs.
That's "what the BlueHell" it is! You can bet I'll be throwing that one out tomorrow whan the chance presents itself.
I know I replaced mine with some door edge guard I found at Pepboys. The original pieces looked a bit ruff. I added a couple dots of superglue here and there to keep it in place.
In a post last week on same issue, I suggested "Lexol" it's available at hardware stores in the caulk aisle. It's clearer than silicone, retains flexibility but holds like a gator's jaws!
