Hello Looking for some help has anyone changed the handlebars on a 2015 Road Glide?
I under stand they mount different.
I want to go to a 15 or 16 inch bar
Either get bars that are not stepped down to 1" for the riser clamp or get a set of risers that are stepped down to 1" and then you can run any bars designed for 2013 and earlier road glides.
The bars are 1 1/4" even at the riser. There's also a pin in the bottom riser clamp that goes through a hole in the bottom of the stock bars keeping them from rotating forward. The pin can be removed with a pair of vise grips pretty easily.

I will add that this will not work for certain bars...Bagger Nation OEM Monkey Bars for pre-2014 will NOT work on a 2015 RoadGlide even with different clamps. Those bars hit the fork tubes.
Otherwise, HogPro is correct...I have a set of 2014-15 FLH (Batwing) Bar Mounts. They fit the bike fine, but the Monkey Bars (old style) would not work. So I am now getting the new style.
If anyone has a need for mounts, I would be willing to part with them...

Check out Buky Bars. That have new bars specifically designed for the 2015 FLTRX. They are 14" rise and you won't have to change your brake or clutch cables. You will need to extend the electronic wiring, but not the cables.
I have a pair of them on my 2013 FLTRX and I am definitely getting a pair for my new 2015 FLTRXS this month.
