SO, for $400 bucks, what improvement(s) will I see or feel ?
You won't have one that fails due to poor oiling. You won't have to glue some flaky plastic oil deflector inside your primary. You'll have something that just works along with piece of mind.
Maybe this is old news..dunno...but just received an email about it...

Joe,thanks for the heads up on the Baker comp!
I assume the smaller twin cam 96ci my 09 FLHTCU has is still considered an 07 or later big twin like Baker states the kit fit, correct?
I think the comp on my 09 FLHTCU with only 10k miles on it is going bad because it makes a loud bang/clunk sound when i hit the starter button to fire it up which i have read here is a sign of comp going bad.
Original owner of the bike changed the primary case oil at 1k miles ,then 5k miles and i just changed it at 9,700 miles when i got it along the changing motor & trans oil too.
The primary case drain plug was loaded with grey slimy metallic type contam and oil from primary with just under 5k miles on it looked very dirty/dark like it was loaded with contam from metal wearing which is likely the comp going bad.
I look forward to the Baker release for the compensator...every damn thing they make is rock solid and tested...by the time Baker puts it out for sale, it has been proven to do what it says it will do!
There still being tested right now and have only been sent out to a select few right now and not expected to be sold to the general public for another month or so. You can call and pre order. Also you have to have the new style SE rotor, so if you have a 96" with the old style you will need to purchase a rotor from harley.
I pulled these picks from another site.
I hope that they get it to market quickly, I want to change mine before spring while I'm in the primary anyway. Looks like a much better piece that the SE junk.
