spring color/pounds per inch chart (I believe): SE (no color) 386# police (pink) 364 # stock 103 (yellow) 320# stock 88 (blue) 300# lite (white) 257# I had the pink in my bike, but it caused the pin in my wrist to loosen up and gave me huge carpal tunnel. I now have the blue... My bike is a stock police 103. and I can say while it doesn't slip, it feels less "snappy" on hard shifts. If I had to get more grip, I'd remove the judder spring and put a full width friction plate all the way on the inside.
Wow so the stock 103 spring is no where near the screaming eagle spring
Maybe give it a chance, I put the SE spring in on a whim,(saw it in the new catalog) Took it out after one short ride,But then the stock spring felt weak and I could make it slip in 5th with a heavy roll on the throttle like passing. So I put it back in and added a Diamondback Cable, Got used to it in a couple days. now it feels normal and that thing really hooks up.I like it a lot.
I'm using the SE clutch spring with the VPC clutch on my Ultra. I tried the SE clutch spring by itself but sitting in Chicago traffic hanging on the the SE clutch spring was a killer on my hands.
The SE clutch spring does break in a bit but working the clutch for an hour or so in traffic requires a tougher hand than mine.
I just got through a cam and SE clutch spring upgrade. I used the clutchWIZ and it is super easy to pull the lever. It was a concern at first it felt so soft. After a few hundred miles or so I can say that I can't get it to slip and the pull is super soft. You can add the WIZ without pulling off the primary. Just pop off the Derby...best $115 I have spent.

No I corrected my post. didn't proof read my crap.. I could not get it to come close to slipping in any gear. Sorry for the screw up. But knowing what I know now as ridedaddy said, I would have gone with the 480 LB spring.
So you think I should do the wiz with the 480? Who makes those products?
