Today I removed my tour pak and as expected, the bike handled better. What I did not expect was the sound of the exhaust to be better. I never really thought about it, but I guess with the tour pak on, it dampens the exhaust sound.
Anyone else noticed this?

I've never removed mine but that is a damn good looking bike!!!
I remove mine all the time when my wife isn't traveling with me. It handles better and yes, the exhaust sounds better. The only thing that suffers is the stereo. I don't have surround sound now. (Four speakers vs two). Nice ride there Mark

Sort of like the other week, the weather was a tad below 40 degrees going to work so I wore a 3/4 helmet with face shield. Man!
It made my mufflers so much quieter...
