I just traded in my sporty for a 2015 Street Glide Special. I like the fact that I can plug in my phone and play music while having it charge. Having said that, is there a way to change/select playlists without physically doing it on the phone? Thanks.
My recommendation is to read up on the infotainment system, you will learn so much more by reading and doing it on the bike of what it is and isn't capable vs asking a question here or there...
I've my 2015 Limited for couple weeks now I can change the song but not the playlist. Getting full use out of the Infotainment probably take longtime since it has so much to offer.

What an eloquent way to tell him to RTFM.
Sorry, OP, I haven't been able to figure that out either. There may be a way to do it with voice commands, but I don't have a headset. I did some preliminary google kung fu on your behalf and there doesn't seem to be a way. I normally keep a large Spotify playlist with a variety of different styles of music. That way I can usually skip songs to find something I am in the mood for.
I was only trying to share that more can be learned then asking a question at a time and then going to the bike to try it.... Yes you can make playlist favorites to select from using the media favorites list. I will refresh my memory and post the steps later
Only if it's plugged into the USB. If you're connected via Bluetooth, you won't have the ability to switch playlists other than on your phone itself.
If you can swing picking up a cheap thumb drive somewhere, just dump all your music on this. Then plug it in and forget about it. Just as he pointed out here, there are many more options connected to the USB drive. I have over 1500 songs on mine and I can sort by playlists, artists or genre. I've put over 1,600 miles on without hearing the same song twice yet.
