Default Zippers 107 Kit??

Don't know if this maybe should be in another section but here goes. Did a search and found lots of positives on 107 kits. Going to pull the trigger and put one in my '11 RGC 103. Was wondering if anyone has done the Zippers 107? Seems like a quality kit and since I already run a Thundermax don't need the tuner. Anyone?

For about $1000 less you could go with a Fuel Moto kit, which has plenty of positive reviews.

Thanks for the reply. Have been looking at everything. Fuelmoto, s&s etc. Came across the zippers 107 muscle kit. Was just curious, but yah, is pricey compared to FM.

Too much money. The Fuelmoto kit is about 2100.00 once you have your heads worked and it includes the 107 cylinders. That kit is about 2800.00 (discounting the Tmax) and you have to swap your cylinders and heads. Zippers does make awesome stuff though...

Seeing that you have to send them your juggs and heads anyways I would go with Fuel moto. When I went from my stock 96" to an S&S 106 the only reason I chose it was because it included the new juggs and I didn't have any down time waiting for my stockers to be bored.

Seeing that the numbers are about the same as a Fuel Moto kit I'd guess your paying the extra money for the zippers name, I'd be willing to bet no one I ride with even knows who that is so I wouldn't spend the extra.

Again thanks for the replys and info. Was leaning towards FM anyways like I said, have bought from them in the past, just doing my homework first. Thanks fellas.

Nothing wrong with Zippers, but there are lots of shops out there that can put together 106/107 kits along with boring your cylinders and working your heads. Pick a good one.

If I went 107 upgrade, I'd go with FM and use their I.C. jugs and B level heads.

If you are in Toronto there has to be some local independant shops that can do this work for you a lot cheaper.

The cost of shipping back and forth from Canada is likely going to be pretty expensive. For the sake of 4 cubic inches I would just have someone work the heads, change the cams if you haven't already and get a good tune.
