I like the stretched down and back bags. Mine are 4 down and 6 back. Top shop black death kit.

Depends on your style. I love the look of the cvo style but they just arent stretched enough imo

I'll again reiterate get what you want as everyone has different reasoning and likes.

I went with what you stated as the standard stretched look as I wanted more of a "mild" build rather than "wild", again, my opinion on looks. Baddad rear fender & Sumax bags.

I want to achieve a certain look, but not worry about scraping. I feel I am landing right where I want to be.

Good luck.

I also think it is a personal decision. Depends ae lot on how you ride. I like the cvo rear, bags/rear fender. It does restrict you to dual exhaust. We tour a lot so too low won't work for me.

Thanks for the input guys. Keep it coming. I am pretty sure I know what way I want to go, but I am doing some research I guess, in a way.

Anyone have pics of their CVO setup? I don't think I have seen it or I can't think of how it looks.

I'm ordering dirty bird +4 bags and rear fender with no cut outs as I'm goin with v&h big radius 2 into 2. I like that look.
But as has been said, opinions are like @$$holes, everyone has one.

If I were to do stretched bags, and I am considering it in the future, I think I would use the 3" stretched bags from Drag. Looks stretched but doesn't make me worry about how much I will drag them. I would rather replace a muffler than a bag. Since I have an FLHX, the fender wouldn't be a high priority for me, but if money were not a factor I would use the CVO rear fender and cut out the factory license plate setup and French in a nice frame. I like the CVO bags from the rear, but I prefer the straight line across the bottom of the drag lower bags. Plus, I seem to recall that the CVO bags don't add any cu in to the bag, where the drag lowers do.

Just my thoughts... RE

We are referring to the rear fender/rear lights/saddle bags
Mine is a CVO so you can get the idea

Oh both photos are the same bike

you can get the saddle bag tops with either speaker grills/speaker, or without.

Or you could do something completely different. Mine was built 10 years ago and it doesn't get lost in the crowd. I don't think it looks dated and I've never seen another like it. Lots of options out there.

Topshop 4.5" Viper Cut Bags (don't drag in the corners when I lay the bike in tight) and with cutouts for exhaust
