It depends how the seat is connected to the seat pan. Just give Allen a call. They are real good folks to deal with. They have done several seats for me.
I hear tons of positives for rider comfort, but I don't hear many opinions on the passenger input. Can some people chime in with first hand opinions from the OL, please?
I had them do mine a couple months ago, but haven't rode it yet. About an inch back with double memory foam which moves me up about an inch but I'm 6-2 so it's not a problem, and had them do the tail bone relief as well. It sits good, can't wait to put some miles on it and see how it works out.
I know, right? Went down an inch and back an inch on my Ultra LOW, no more seat hunting for me, found it.
Just curious as to how they managed to go down an inch on a seat that already has most of the padding removed, that is if by "Ultra Low" you mean the new Ultra Classic and Ultra Limited Low models. I would like to get more padding in mine but not raise it up any. Thanks for any insight you can give on how they managed to do it. I'm only 4 hours from MCC and may ride up and wait on it if they can do it.

ramblin, my seat was purchased just for the mod, on Allen's advice-it's seat pan favorable to the modification process. It's a Harley Touring Low Ultra Classic Seat, P#552164-10 and, although already lower than the stocker, is now super low. Seat foam has been upgraded, and even with much original foam removed, there is no loss of comfort. Quite the opposite, as the shaping process has helped as well. Think tractor seat-shape over piles of mush. How they do it? didn't watch it, but well pleased with the results.

Thanks, Coach. That helps me out. I'm going to wait and do my ride down to the Everglades before I decide on modifying this seat. It already feels a lot better than it did the first 100 miles.
