I'm looking forward to seeing the new chrome that HD puts out. Anyone have an idea when the 07 model chrome parts will start showing up? There are none even in the last catalog supplemental. Looks good starman.

RanD, may I ask the meaning behind your shifter arm date? If its none of my business just say so. No worries.

Jon,

The date on the shifter linkage is when I 'putthe plug in the jug.' I'm a recovering alcoholic. The symbol that flanks the date is the international symbol for addiction recovery. Thanks for asking.

I like it, a great part. I know a lot of guys don't care for kuryakyn, calling it chinese made junk, but I think they make some very nice products. I own a few myself. And I will be adding much more. Those that don't like it, tuff. My bike and my decision to add whatever the heck I want

Randy, always good to hear you are hangin strong. A strong mind makes for a strong soul. Keep up the good work. And just think of all the money you are saving to buy new chrome. I was spending about 50 bucks a week on booze. Now I buy chrome. My Harley is my new addiction. And even though the wife bitches about how much I spend on the bike, I know she is happy I don't indulge like I use to.

Stay safe to all of you as we ride this summer. Watch out for the idiots that aren't watching out for you.

Hey all:

I just put on the new Kuryakyn transmission Shroud cover for the '07. Not cheap, $170, butI think it adds a nice large touch of chrometo the right side.

What do you all think???
I think I would of got the one from Harley for $59.95 or the Kit for $94.95.

Cast Engine Transmission Interface Cover

Bridge the space between the cam cover and the transmission in style. The cast and chrome-plated cover conceals the oil hose, oil line cover and clutch cable, bringing a unified look to the right side of your Touring bike.

This product is available in multiple variations. Be sure to look for the one that fits the specific model and year of your motorcycle

66545-07

Fits '07-later Touring models. Will not fit models equipped with Hydraulic Clutch.

MSRP US $59.95
Engine/Transmission Interface and Top Cover Kit

This chrome-plated cover kit dresses the area between the cam cover and transmission, and wraps the rear and top of the transmission for a custom look. The ribbed two-piece side cover kit conceals the interface hardware, and the contoured top cover fills the valley between the rear cylinder and transmission cover. The three-piece kit includes all necessary mounting hardware.

66532-07

Fits '07-later Touring models. Will not fit models equipped with Hydraulic Clutch.

MSRP US $94.95

I hadn't seen that kit until recently. Dealer even told me last week that Harley hadn't made that for the '07 yet. Is that a new kit?
