If they are the drag pipes in the instructions they need the spacers because the pipes are smaller than the original slip ons. Any bolts should work, I'm not even sure they make high grade carriage bolts, they are just holding the pipes to the mounting brackets. Spacers again are not that specific, I'd say 1/2" OD by 3/8" ID 1" long, you could even just use washers to build up the 1" space, though not very clean looking. Chrome spacers would look best but those might have to be ordered. The carriage bolts will go on the pipes up to the original mounts with the spacers in between. I hope you like loud.
