Default Need help finding a thread

I am looking for the thread that had the pictures of how to fix the oil spray from the air filter. I am looking for the one where the guy tapped fittings to the air filter bracket and then plugged the holes with orange high temp calk (or its equivalent). Getting ready to do this and want to look over his thread one more again before I start drilling holes.

I will keep looking while maybe somebody know which thread I am talking about and knows how to locate it.

Why not use a kit from DK Custom Products? http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/All-...ngines_c76.htm

I called them and they don't have anything that will work....or if they did, I didn't want to spend the kind of cash they were asking for when I can do it for a 1/4 of what they want for a ready made kit.

I used a DK kit but I understand if you want to spend the cash on other stuff. For me, it was easier to just have them send me what I needed than spending the time sourcing the parts needed.

You can get an idea with pictures here too: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...ll-review.html

I called and spoke to them on the phone and the setup that I have, they don't make a kit that fits. Its not really anything to piece together unless you want to get fancy. It just taps into the back plate, hose, clamps and a filter of you choose that route.

That install does look good though. Pretty much what I am doing

I drilled and tapped my SE air cleaner to 1/4" pipe and tapped and ran allen screws (locktite and staked) in the stock oil passages. Hose to ground. Maybe 15 bucks?
