People need to quit supporting China's economy and purchase domestically. All the good led headlight are U.S. made.
Good luck with cheap tires and brakes. Those are only the 2 most important parts of the bike.

If you went on to see the particular one I got, it came from Pennsylvania! Also, the Shinko tires seem to be popular on drag and race bikes. Must be a decent tire to be used in the majority of those venues. And as for the brake pads, you are paying for the HD name, you can get the same pads with the same compounds as the HD. People need to do research before making comments. I get people want the HD stuff to be on their HD but there are alternatives out there that are just as good.
I've worked on cars and bikes for many years. An example, I've had customers who owned a Lexus and needed front sway bar bushings. There are 4. I called Lexus and they wanted $86 for them. I called Toyota, and they wanted $38. Just so you know, most Lexus parts are made by Toyota and have it stamped right on the part. But the owner just had to have the part ordered from Lexus.
Just do the research, you might be surprised.

I did do some research. You didn't provide a link, you gave a description. When I search that description I find those lamps come from Hong Kong. You bought them from a guy in PA who imports them from......... CHINA. You are also telling people to modify their headlight in a way that doesn't meet DOT requirements, which is illegal.
I know how hard it is to not buy Chinese crap. I still try not to. I didn't say anything about buying OEM Harley parts. I simply stated the best LED vehicle lighting on and off road is American made. The LED headlights made by those manufactures for motorcycles ARE DOT compliant.
I don't and won't buy or drive a Lexus or a Toyota. The performance parts for Chevy cavaliers were TRD parts. I don't own or drive one of those and I live an hour away from the assembly plant.
I understand that you can shop around and justify spending less on a product. I'm saying try and find something made domestically and pay a couple bucks more and support our own economy. Maybe someone you know's job depends on it.
