pearl isnt that hard to match if you take your time to check against another painted part from your bike.i painted a tour pak spoiler and a rear fender extension on my ultra a few years ago.i bought glacier white pearl from my local ppg jobber.you just have to add mid coat until you get it matched.it is a 3 stage paint job.

BINGO!! Any good painter can match pearls with a little patience and persistence.
Along with PPG there is also Colorite. You can even get Colorite in rattle cans should you want to take it on yourself. Did the pearl gold/whit bags on my wife's Heritage that way - turned out great.
Thanks for the info guys. I will take it by to a few places and see. Another concern is the aftermarket detachable fairings like on ebay, how close are they to looking like the factory ones?
