Ok guys, not to stir up any more stuff, but are all DNA wheels crap, or is it just the fat spokes that are bad.
Just wondering because I was just looking on eBay for an 18"-21" straight 60 spoke wheel (then happened across this thread). Most of what comes up are DNA brand. A reasonably priced front is listed by KCINT, I am guessing I should stay away from this correct?
I know I see from above, the finishes are peeling off, and the CS sucks. That's strike one and two, But are the wheels straight? Or do they need to be adjusted to round before you can use them.

I have had no issues with my Dna 60 spoke tubeless 21x3.5 front rim. I have had it for over a year and its all good. No chrome flake, stays true. I will be ordering a rear 16 or 18 to match once I go through my rear tire
My experience was horrible. Maybe u will get lucky. I ordered mine powder coating which was the bad part. Most the bitching was about leaking. I never got them on the bike. I returned the front one twice for powder coating. Took 5 weeks to get back with the same problem. The other guy got chrome had no issues. If u do order them don't post u got screwed because as u see from all my posts u get no sympathy brother. Good luck.
I tell everyone who asks that DNA is hit-and-miss at best and I would always pay a bit extra and go with Sinister or Ride Wright. There are always a few replies from posters who went the DNA route and they were satisfied. But, for every lucky satisfied DNA owner, there is another VERY dissatisfied owner. I will always pay more and get a quality product. SJ Ron
I got my fat spoked wheels from DNA 2-3 years ago and had no issues, but from all the comments on here, looks like I was one of the few lucky ones! Sry to hear what happened with your wheels. I'm actually selling these wheels and ordering the same but different sizes and dont think im gonna go with DNA again, dont wanna push my luck
I ended up ordering Sinister. I have a question tho, I went 21x3.50 & 18x4.25 and also ordered Klock-Works Wrapper front fender and wondering best size & brand tires to go with? I'm thinking Avon Cobra 120/70/21 & 150/70/18. Thanks in advance!
