Just got my ape hanger setup thru carlini, & its rather cold in michigan, but im gonna have a heater going in my garage,& i was gonna start in 2 weeks.
Is it bad to do all this work while its cold out? Brake fluid, transfluid, & all that..?
Like i said, maybe a stupid question but figured id ask.
Yea winter mods a good way to beat the cabin fever.
Just a suggestion, I never clean my bikes when it's cold. The paint will scratch very easy when it's cold.
I just did the bars on 11 EGC. Sat at the dining room table, pulled the wires through, put the extensions on, and mounted the controls. Just plumbed the brakes the other day. It was up in the 20's here. I also put new fork lowers and monotubes in. I added the fluid to them in the dining room too. Just pulled my rear fender to have the holes filled after removing the fender tip light. Now I have new to me outer primary, points cover, and upper lower rocker boxes coming in black. I work in my non insulated two car garage. The heat is in the tools.

Thats my plan. Do everything that can be done inside, inside. I ain't scared of the cold, but if i minimize my time in the cold...well ya know ahah
