Default 2005 RK custom

ok so i'm in the middle of purchasing this 05 FLHRSI it is exactly what I was looking for...got a great deal on it. is there any must haves that I need to buy or will want to buy over the next year or so. Like lowers or tour pack? Had a 94 FLSTN that was stolen so this my first foray into a touring bike thanks

Check-see what's been done to the cam chain tensioners. Some early-year 05's had an issue with valve guides, i.e., the seals let oil by into the combustion chamber. How many miles on it?

He just replaced cam chain tensioners last year. someone told him to change both tensioners and head gaskets at 30k so he took it to his local dealer and got both done. Has a stage 1 air cleaner, V and H Exhaust, fuelpack injection tuner, all fluids were changed including fork oil and seals. runs like a champ! it has 29k on the clock as of now

Hi
Nice bike. If you get lowers, don't buy the chinese knock offs. Unless you ant to spend time working on them. I'd say ride it for a season then acess what you want. Happy smiles.

Nice. Check motor mount in the front and the swing arm bushings.
