Might be better to hang the bike from ceiling with rubber hooks then you don't have to worry about the gremlins or the grounding problem. You also get more floor space in the old car port.

I agree with your neighbor, I had the same problem. I took thejiffy stand offand Ilay the bike down on a rubber mat. It solved my problem. The battery now stays fully charged.

Tell him it comes with a genuine Harley Davidson sealed battery, therefore it can not drain out when it is leaning on the jiffy sidestand.... (What comes around goes around..fight fire with fire... baffle him with bull...you get the picture....)
And there is that thing where if you put rubber under your kick stand it will keep the cheap fasteners on the engine and allfrom oxidizing.
