I just went to the dealer, told them what I wanted. They will be more than happy to sell to you for $16.00.
I went to the dealer about 2 weeks ago and bought one for my 04Electra Glide Classic. I almost sh*t when he rang it up, $16.84? For a freakin aluminum screw?
Try MyDMA.net . Guy who makes them isname Tom.I bought a screw for my seat from him. He is local to me in ABQ. I love the screw, and you can get on that really looks good with any color bike you have.
After the first time I took the seat off and scratched the tour pack [:@], I threw the screw away and removed the bracket from the seat. No problems, no more scratches.
Most good hardware stores, will have a set of small parts in slide out
trays and boxes.
You can get different size and style ***** with different size screws.
Mine was I think $3.69 about three years ago.
The tour pack makes it too difficult to get a screw driver down there.
With the **** I undo it by hand.
Bushy - The notch in front and/or my body holds it in place. On my dirt bike, or on a sport bike it would be an issue, but not on an Ultra Classic (IMO).
