Default Ohlins #2 ?

Thinking of swapping out the 11" HD air shocks on my 07 Street Glide to Ohlins #2. Looking for input from anyone.

Don't look back, just do it!

I am completely stoked with my 2-2A's Ohlins.

No more hassle with my then leaking stock air shocks!

I just put 2-2A's on my bike. I have not put enough miles on them to break them in, but I can already tell they're better than stock.

I have the 2-2 b, on my roadglide ultra and had them on my 09 ultra prior to that, best upgrade I did for both bikes. I had them rebuilt by Howard after 40k last year. The wife and I do a lot of 4 and 5k road trips and we love the shocks. We thought the Harley air shocks were awesome in 2001 when we road a friends new road king, it was a great improvement over the pan and shovels we rode up to that point, never owned an evo bike.

Thanks for all the input, don't want to make a bad decision spending the kind of money for shocks. Haven't found anyone who was unhappy with them.

I can't comment on onlins but have heard they are really good but expensive. I went with Progressives on my 09 SG and now have them on my 13 SG and have been very happy with them. The first weekend after I put them on, the wife and I did a 260 mile ride and realized how bad the stock shocks really were. The Progressives were $549 and I switched them out in an hour. Any choice will be better than stock!

I have had the #2-#3's on for at least 5 years. Howard did a fabulous job getting the valving spot on as well as the spring rate. They work very very well.

If your interested in the 2's I would call Howard with Motorcycle Metal and tell him your a member of this forum. He gives a discount to forum members. I think you will find out that the cost difference is not that significant.
