I have had my ezpass behind the fairing on my last two bikes with no issues. Pop the fairing cover and stick it inside there and forget it.

Texas is the same way. They just bill you....but, they apparently can't see my tag under my tour pack. No bill yet.

I don't have one, but my buddy did the same as you. Mounted it under his outer fairing and it works perfectly. Nice thing is, you never forget it and it's completely out of your way. Also, not likely to be stolen.

Yep - & I wish Ohio would get with it & remove the gates. The state says that is their way of keeping the speed down through the booths, but it is a pain having to stop & wait for the gate to go up. Going through the booths in PA is a breeze compared to Ohio.

Anyway, I have (1) transponder between my car & my bike. I use one of these & stick it to my windshield only when I know I'll be going through toll booth. It seems to stick well in the car & on the Ultra windshield, is easy to apply & remove, & doesn't leave anything on the windshield when removed. I bought mine off EBay. I think the units that they sell now fit both the old & new style transponders.

I have mine stuck to the bottom front of the left saddlebag lid. I have it stuck there just like it would be on a windshield. Then always ride down the right hand tire trail at the gate. Since I've started doing that, I've never missed a gate yet.

This works in NY as well.

in ohio also. Commute regularly on the bike during season. Mine is on the rear wall of the left saddlebag with regular old Velcro. I take it between the bike and my truck all the time. Never had a gate not read it unless the gate was acting up.

In the pouch should work for you. Some people affix them under their fairing but have mixed results. I think it may have something to do with metallic paint but don't know for sure.

In some places you have to have it because their are arms stopping you from going forward. Other areas, like mine, you register your plate and if the transponder is not picked up, they bill your account. Because of this, I chose not to mount mine. In my case, I have several toll roads that the camera angle is too steep to catch the plate under a tour pak. Some of the other toll roads, it picks it up just fine and I see the billing under my account.

Some friends and I rode to Key West (from St Lou) last fall.......everyone had them in their saddle bags. I used the sucker cups that come on it and stuck it to the top of the hard bag (inside) lid. Someone else just tossed his into his tour pack. Most of the time they are using your license plate via a picture when you go thru the gates or along the road way.

Being from michigan we don't have the ez pass system and our roads show it too. Anyway my question is does ez pass work in all states? Say PA to ohio? Or even more south like into NC for instance? I have some trips planned and I always hate being that guy who has to stop dig out one and wait or hold others up when riding in a group.
