ACC Switch
i wan't to use the factory ACC switch to control power to my air ride. where are the wires ran from that switch? or are their any connections i need to make that switch actually work? i have never had a use for it so no idea how its set up from factory
If you're handy with fabbing connectors, the housing, socket pins, and wedge necessary to make it yourself would be much less than the price of the kit- but the kit is ready made, just connect the hot and ground wires to your pump or relay.
The 4 pin connector under the seat is as follows (pre-Rushmore)
Ground
On with ignition
On with brake
On with ACC switch
So, depending on the accessory plugged into it, and it's wiring configuration, will determine when it is active.
On my 99 I used it for additional brake lights then added HD's splitter so had the brake lights connected (on with brake) and heated grips that activated with ACC switch.
On my 08 I use it for 12v port in tourpak that is on with ignition switch.

I use the Acc switch to run the compressor on my Air Zeppelin seat (using the aux connector under the seat mentioned above). Get the aux. cigarette lighter kit and use that pigtail to build your interface .
the switched circuit adapter harness 70264-94a - http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...dapter-harness - is about 10bucks cheaper then the 41843-97 auxiliauy power-port side panel mount - if you have extra needs for switched power in the furture its just an added pig-tail
