after a couple rides on my newtome 08, I have decided I want a shorter windshield. The stock is 12 inches and I find myself looking right at or just below the top edge. Annoying.
I already know that I want an 8 inch with a recurve slightly tinted.
My concern is the material. I have seen and heard that acrylic is brittle and polycarbonate is more durable.
They are all about $100 so ya know, whatever with the price.
Recommendations? I have never purchased an aftermarket windshield. So I really don't know who is good or bad.
I know of, Klockwerks, Clearview, longride, I am sure there are others.
Bought a blemished recurve unit from LR great price & top notch service, for some reason I bought the same size as my Windvest both 10" wanted an 11 from LR and I screwed up, the windvest throws more air over me than the LR. Had them both on a 04 Ultra.
