WhoooHooooo, 42, dry roads, rained yesterday to wash the salt away, so I got in my first ride of 2015. Haven't been on the bike since Christmas day. Man that felt good!
Got my first ride in yesterday also! It was 50 up here in Minnesota yesterday. Roads were dry, still had the salt dust because of no rain to wash it away yet but it wasn't bad. I said to hell with it and rode anyhow! Felt really good!! :-)
I rode twice this past week, just to the store and back but that was still a great feeling. Today and tomorrow we are expecting 70's so I will try to get some good miles in while I can.
I rode 4 times in February and a time or 2 in January. Colorado is not the arctic circle that some people think it is....we get snow, then it melts a day or 2 later and we have warm days even in the middle of winter. But, as they say, March is our snowiest month so I plan to make the most of the Spring-like temps.
One of my greatest pleasures. After a long winter, the first time I get to roll the bike out of the garage, fire it up and go for a ride. It's like getting a new bike every year !
