I want something that sounds good at idle and has good torque. it has rinehart true duals se air breather and se tuner. since i did that it does not have a good lope sound at idle as it did when it was stock.
And think i need to stay with se for warranty.
I ride 2 up about 40% of the time. and i weigh 220lbs and wife is 180lbs.
And i dont want to have to do head work or anything crazy.
Heard good stuff about se 204 and se 259.
My 2012 Street Glide has Andrew H57 cam,(.560 lift), Vince&Hines propipe 2 to 1, Cobra proflow air cleaner, TTS tuner. No head work and it dyno 101 T & 93 HP. Really like the this combo. Your warranty probably gone.
In my '12 RGC I've got Rinehart Extreme True Duals and the SE Heavy Breather intake. I added the Wood TW-222 cams (pushrods and lifters) and got the results in the dyno sheet attached.
For 2-up riding and touring, I don't know how you get much better with a bolt in cam.
Good luck.
You have MANY options. Figure out where you want your bike to be making its peak power, and study up from there. I have TW-222's in mine, and am very happy with them. I have 4.5" slip ons, and because of that my cams are good on the low end, and are flat amazing at mid range in taller gears. With smaller diameter mufflers your peak power will be more on the bottom end than mine is.
Guess I should have said, stock heads and springs,tThrottle body and injectors, SE, adjustable pushrods, air cleaner and back plate, V&H Power Duals and Monster Rounds, Power Commander V
For really improved low end/mid range TQ the TW222 is an excellent choice. It really made 6th gear at 70 mph useable again. No longer a need to shift down to pass or climb hills, just twist the throttle and go. No other engine work needed with these cams.
